Side by side Runs for Chickens and also for Pheasants

Ok I have any question both chickens and also Pheasants on side by side runs , should I place boards up from the ground along the diver fence runs and if so how high should the be 18” -24” so that the other birds can not see who or what’s on the other sides runs or do you just have fence and they can see who’s in the other runs .

well i have roos on both sides of hardware cloth and they fought.. one ripped his upper beak completely off.. so i would definately block them from seeing each other..it has since died and fallen off..he is ok but he can't peck at grass and things in the lawn. he eats and drinks fine so we didn't cull him
