What are the side effects of feeding laying mesh to pullets at a early age of say 10 weeks? Because my friend started feeding his early and is still feeding them it and it ain't no where time for them to start laying.

Laying feed has added calcium at a percentage that may be detrimental to the health of a young pullet's kidneys. I wouldn't feed them layer feed before about 18 weeks.
