This chick as pipped on the side of the egg, as expected because the air cell was on the side when I candled, will it be able to get out ok? Today is day 21-22.
It looks normal to me and should be ok. If you don't see any movement the chick could be resting. First they do their internal pip and then pip the shell. Some hatch out quickly and some take their time hatching. Good luck and have fun...

I could feel the chick moving inside this morning. I waited a few hours and there was still no progress so I peeled a tiny bit of the shell away. The chick had pipped on the complete opposite side of the air cell unfortunately. By the time I finally got to it, it was already dead. I think it must have suffocated. I wish I had helped just a bit earlier. It was fully formed ready to hatch and everything
