side ways toe on my smallest chicken

i was looking at my chickens and notaced one has a toe facing outward i dont know what to do

Can you post a picture? How old is the chicken, how long has the toe been like this, do you think it's an injury?

dont know how long the toe has been like this. she also wont let me pick her up she is about 5-4 weeks away from egg laying i will try to post a picture.

Chickens do have toe joints. I could be a vitamin deficiency, or it could be a broken toe.
Vet is always a good option if you have one that will see chickens. If she is difficult to catch, then I would wait until tonight when she is roosting, after dark, and get her then and give it a good look and try to get a picture. If you think it is broken then you can splint it.
