Went to a country music concert last night - a first for me, and I'm about running out of firsts. "Locked and Reloaded" - Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley with Raelynn and Kix Brooks as openers. KiX Brooks as an opening act?

Dierks Bentley put on an awesome show, but I just don't 'get' Miranda Lambert.

There were no 'Margarita boxes', but I'll bet a Budweiser box would have been busy. The two BIG guys to my right must have made 20 trips to the toilet/or to get beer during the 4+ hour show. Same for the 7 or 8 young girls sitting to their right. Haven't seen that much beer consumed by the entire crowd in a long time. As we pulled out of the center on to the Parkway, there sat the police with 5 cars pulled over. Bet that spoiled their fun in a big hurry. Designated drivers save licenses and lives.
 
It was OK. Do I feel the need to go to another? No: however, it if it were Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, or Faith Hill I would have to reconsider.

It was a fun night and provided some memories. We got back to our car at 11:10, and the Princess was on the Parkway by 11:20. That was nothing short of a miracle .

Critter accuses me of driving like a city girl. Of course, he moseys around in a box truck - you don't do nothin' fast with that!
