It’s still really bad in a lot of mountain areas though, plus all the Helene homeless. We became yesterday’s news pretty quickly.

I'm probably gonna get another dog kennel but I just would like to see some ideas that others use. Even if it's not heavy duty, truthfully I would like to see it.

This is a bit of a tangent but if you decide on extra dog crates check your local garage sales. Maybe it’s just my area but they seem to show up a lot, and it could save you some money vs. buying them new.

You can also look for 'breeder finch cages' on craigslist. Not the most comfortable for the bird, but usually readily available. I picked up a bunch on Amazon actually for 30 bucks a piece. They look like this:
