Family in Corpus said some trees and fences are down, lots of power out, but so far fine.

Too close far as I'm concerned. About 35 minutes away if you drive 70. The wind was about 60mph with a few gusts were about 90mph.
At the point of landfall the sustained winds were just over 130mph with gusts over 160.
