you should go! for sure, GO!

Yes, your friends will have dates, but so what. It's not like because they have dates no one will talk to you. Their dates will chit-chat with their friends and so will you. I think you'll regret if you don't go.

20 years from now you'll look back and say "man, I didn't even go to my senior prom" or you'll say "yep, I went. I didn't have a date, but I had a blast!"

You should go. Just tag along with a group of your other friends. Get pics taken with your girl friends. You'll be disappointed if you miss your senior prom, even if you don't have a date. You could always try to get a date from another school, if that's possible.

GO!!!GO!!!GO!!!
My DD went with her girlfreinds and her Best friend took a date and whined to them all night he did'nt want to dance...My DD and her friends had a blast with no guys... So see sometimes you have much more fun without them...
You will have fun if you have a date or not... You have the dress the ticket..Go and have some FUN!!!! It's your last Dance.. 2010!!!!

:)Here's something that might make you feel better.....
I moved to a new town at the beginning of my Junior year in high school. I didn't know anyone, but I made a few friends. People down here in AL were kind of taken with me, as I had moved here from AZ. This was the late-80's, and I wore John Lennon glasses, a peace symbol and army jacket, and I didn't have an accent. I thought I was a boss.
When it came time for Prom, I felt confident of a date. Well....I asked eleven different girls and was turned down each time. Talk about an ego-killer.
I did end up going to my Senior Prom, only because I had a girlfriend at the time. We had a great evening...dinner with friends, time at the dance itself, and late-night food afterwards. I am not saying the Prom is an absolute *must*, but it is a good end to a high school career.

Keep your chin up. Even if you do end up having to go it alone, enjoy yourself.

I'm sure there are other girls who want to go and don't have a date. See if you can find them and 'gang up' together to crash prom!!

Or, have an anti-prom party and invite others who don't want to or can't go.
A group of my daughter's friends plan to have one of those at my house around the fire pit next year

And, not that its a must do thing, but you might meet someone nice AT the prom!!! Do go, because its the one thing in your life that you will never be able to do again, (unless you have to repeat the grade, but don't do that either!!!

Just go and expect the best!!! Have fun!!! You are only your age ONCE and you will always wonder "what if" if you don't go!!!!!
