So our system is down today. Has been for the past two hours (since I got here) and we're STILL sitting around with nothing to do.
We're on overtime too.

It seems like it's just an ongoing problem. Either it's down, or slow enough that it affects (effects?) production.

Why is it that a major company can't seem to get their systems fixed?

I could just as easily be at home doing nothing.

It happens at my work to. We all sit here and twidel our thumbs or do useless paper work till our systems are back up. But we are a small place (olny 80-90 people) so we have one IT manager who is amazing who gets things up pretty quickly usually.

We started cleaning, but then finally we all got sent home.
Hopefully they'll have it fixed by tomorrow.

Good luck! We never get sent home here. 4 1/2 hours the power was out because of a storm and after it was back up it was an hour an a half before systems were working again. Sat here in the dark the whole time
