oh that is a good idea. I have always been looking for ideas to keep Dakota occupied. she is so intelligent and needs the stimulation. Her mother is happy to just graze all day and get love, but Dakota is always investigating and exploring things.
I don't know if it is because her mother is 20, retired and pretty much bomb proof, and Dakota is only four and is still exploring, or if its personality. Her mother at five wasn't that much of a handful. She's intelligent too but was always very accepting of what was presented her.
Yeahh. It keeps them entertained. My horse, age 6, seems to get into more trouble. He's cut his lip open, torn his eyelid off, gotten hit by a big Ford truck, cut his knee open, bucked and landed on a t-post and had a 6 inch long cut on his butt, seems to always be something. My mom's horse, age 7, NEVER gets in trouble.
