Well, we put her down a few months ago. Doing a Google search for an unrelated problem in some baby chicks came up with the diagnosis for my late Australorp. Crazy chick disease. Despite her being fully grown, she had all the symptoms. It's nice to know that there is a name for what happened to her. It was an awful experience.
