Sight Sexing Barred Plymouth Rock Chicks at Hatch

This one was supposed to be a Barred Rock, but with the crest I'm hearing that it is probably a mix. So here goes: pullet or cockerel?

Never mind... I just got confirmation that he's Stanley (not Stella). Bummer... I like this one so much that I researched how to keep a rooster in the city under wraps, and it's just not doable for us. That and who knows how he'd turn out anyway (friend or foe)?

I have a question I’m hoping someone might know the answer to so I bought 4 California grey chicks(or so I was told) all supposed to be pullets. 3 look all the same and are the same size, 1 is much smaller and getting a lot more color. So did I get a rooster, or possibly different kind of chick?!? Or are they normally not similar?**** Only talking about two black chicks in the pictures. I’m thinking I have mixed breeds ‍

So these were in the "rainbow pullet pack" bin. I have no idea what they are. But they are HUGE. Twice the size as the other chicks the same age. I hope they aren't both roosters.

They both appear to be pullets.

This chick is giving me a hard time. The barring isn't as distinct or as heavy as I'd expect from a roo, but it looks like there are red wattles forming already too. He/she is 4.5 weeks old. Any guesses?
