I was wondering the same. Here's a bit of info. I'm a single, stay home, homeschooling mom. I am not on ANY type of government assistance. I am not dating or seeing anyone. I work my fanny off (quilting, home organization as a side business) in order to make the money I need to support my daughter and myself. It very well could be that this woman wiped the bank because the man was a loser who was unfaithful, couldn't keep a job and neglected her and the children, and was squandering the money SHE worked hard for. *shrugs* Just sayin'. Not all women are lazy sponges.

Or she may simply make more than him. I made way more than my husband when we were married. We both worked full time, I just made more because my career choice paid more.

I personally have been cashing my paychecks instead of depositing them into the joint account, and keeping 99% of it for myself and the bills. No work = no spending money.
