Signs of being ready but no eggs

I have 2 hens that are 24 weeks...one barred rock and one red cross. Their combs and wattles are bright red now, they let the roosters get on them, the vent looks ready but after several weeks, still no eggs. Is this normal?

Yes. Patience, they will lay in their own good time. Roosters ? How many ? Too many roosters harassing hens can stress them and reduce production.

Did you compare to laying birds?
Check pelvic point spacing?
Do you free range?
