The Milk Drinker just pointed to your avatar and said "ki-ki". That is how he says kitty. He does this because when I'm calling the cat I'll say "ki-ki-ki-kitty". He calls chickens "Chick-Chick" for the same reason because I call "Chick-chick-chick-chicky" for the chickens to come.

Aww that's so sweet. Her name is Sophie my chickens come running to "kitty kitty" so I've never adjusted to calling them by species it's all "kitty kitty kitty"

Jeeze, I didn't even finish the first page before I bailed. Kind of a guilt trap you're running here. It's like The Post Whore thread on my other board. So one of my Cuckoo Marans has been off and on laying this type of egg. It is always super rough textured also. Does this mean there is something wrong reproductively? FWIW none of her eggs have seemed to develop under our broody or in my little experimental incubator. She’s a psycho bird who loves to get herself stuck in places and be a fake broody so her name is Defective.
