Well, good morning all. Just checking in before my day gets busy. Going to work on my run enclosure, then taking my sister-in-law, who has alzheimers, out shopping for clothes. Mostly to get her out and give my BIL a much needed break. It's going to be interesting.

Shoot. I wonder if it possible over heated for a bit and killed some eggs.

I think it was the temperature. The only eggs that died were the ones closest to and farthest from the light.

Yesterday was a busy day! We’re building a chicken coop out of a reclaimed crib, and we painted our existing coop a barn red. They all look amazing!

My Cochin cockerel isn't acting quite right. I'm a little concerned
He ate and only after he ate did he start acting wierd. He keeps stretching out his neck and wings at the same time and is lethargic.
Suggestions? The female is fine and they both ate a lot.
