Coolest bird I've owned....?

Probably the Nanday Conure, but he was so loud I ended up having to rehome him.

Sultans were on my list of breeds to get, but they've been bumped off until/unless I've got everything else I want and end up with extra room.

I didn't take a pic and its outside under my broody right now. Membrane still appeared in tact and it wasn't a crack from the inside. It looked like mom did it with her beak. The shell was pushed in.

Has she hatched babies before?

@woodenfarm can confirm that sometimes new mom's go ape with hatching chicks.
If she is a new broody keep a close eye!

Are these brown eggs or white? I've heard brown ones are harder to candle. If fact the best candling spot is in Kiki's closet. Nice and dark for the best contrast.

No it's her first time. But she had three eggs an one has already hatched. It hatched a day and a half early. That's her with it in my avatar pic. And "good flashlight" added to shopping list.... now.

One is brown, one is blue.

Will do. I've been a little worried about her taking good care of them but I want to let her do her thing so I'm trying not to intervene.

Sometimes they will get up an bail once a chick hatches.
