The only survivor is either Pemba or Lindi but without the other to compare to I don't know which. I've decided the make will be dubbed Pemba and the female Lindi.
The chick is 1 month old. Gender guess? It's in a towel because the poor baby was soaked.

How did it blow over? Was it a prefab or just a really light coop?
Try searching under bushes and whatnot. If you have a dog they might smell them or at least flush them out.
I found a wet hen silently hiding under a bush 2-3 days after Harvey smashed my coop.

I just lost the chicks. Well, all but one.
We did a really throurough search of my and my neighbors' properties. I think they are gone.

It was a rabbit hutch. I was stupid and didn't think about the high winds.
The top flips open. It caught the wind, acted like a sail and caused the coop to tip. With the top open the chicks probably left and got picked up by the wind.

Honestly, I'm thinking of getting out of chickens because I've had so many issues and lost so many this year.
We are going to butcher most of our layer flock and get new chicks next year. A lot of our layers don't lay and aren't worth keeping.
