Might just be me but I'm fairly sick of seeing the flag at half mast so often.
It's at half mast today with no explanation.
"Lower it for this, lower it for that"

I agree. I would at least like to know the reason for the flag being at half-mast. The gravity it gives certain events, like mass shootings and 9/11 means so much, but it kind of loses its weight when they lower the flag so often.
