High fever for a few days and when the fever goes away blisters form on hands feet and mouth area. Can travel to bum, up and down the legs.

Let me tell you my boys took the blisters like champs. They was fussy for the fever but never for the blisters.
Me on the other hand every little blister felt like a new sting it hurt so bad and my husband would wake up to me clawing at my hands do to the itching pain.

Ugh. I really hope I don’t get it. I frequently share eating utensils and food with him, so I’m very likely to get it if anyone is. He was really fussy for the fever but is almost back to normal now. He has the blisters on his Hands, feet, knees, elbows, butt and mouth. He is a little off food right now, but other than that he seems back to normal.

I never heard about it until I joined FB parenting groups when I was pregnant.

I never did till our son had the 103 fever for several days. The Dr said it was prob it we would know when his fever broke.
It's very contagious. Some kids do not run the fever before the blisters. The Dr said it can live like 72 hrs like spredding a cold.

Is it a fairly recent thing? I've never heard of it before. I definitely don't remember anybody getting it when I was a kid.
