I wonder if this could be from scaly mites, I think they can also affect the face, not just legs if I remember correctly. How do her legs look?

Birds do get scaly face mites, but they are less common. Usually Ivermectin is the treatment for those. Another possibility is a fungal infection, called favus. Treatment is an over the counter antifungal ointment, miconazole (monistat or the generic), or lotrimin applied twice a day to the area. That is what I would try first, if you don't see some improvement then I'd treat for the mites. If you have a vet then a skin scraping would answer for sure. Below is a picture of a bird with pretty bad favus.

ok, I will try that first for fungus. I am attaching a pic of some ivermectin at Tractor supply, is this what I would use? Thanks!

https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/scaly-leg-mites.1341201/#post-21984705If it turns out to be mites (I'm hoping it's favus, which is more common) then you will also need to clean out your coop and treat it with a permethrin product, you can get that at TSC also.
