Silkie 5 months old

Hey all!
I don’t have silkies and never have, but a friend of mine has 2 and she’s asking if I want them. I have too many roosters right now so I’m curious as to if this is a hen or roo?
I think these 2 pictures are the same bird lol.

If it's 5 months old I'm guessing female, but it's going to be a risk. Silkies are very tough to tell gender with.

I’ve noticed I was hopeful that someone else was able to since I’m not knowledgeable on it!

I do not mind being tagged a bit!

I don't believe that bird is five months old though. It didn't grow its tail poof yet. But yep, I'd say female too.
