Hello All!
We purchased our silkies 5 weeks ago from a local feed store. Two died within a week, four remain, but one of them has hardly grown!! The other three silkies are about the same size as each other.
It's eating great, has plenty of fresh water, and we've been hand feeding it hard boiled eggs. We feed all our animals holistic/organic feed, so we really want to keep that in mind if we end up needing supplements of some sort.
Maybe it's nothing... just a runt? If that's even possible with silkies! They're so small already!
We're new chickens owners, willing and ready to learn, so does anyone have an idea of what's going on? Thanks in advance
