Hatching chicks is wonderful. I hatched for the first (and so far only) time last year, and it was really neat. You have just a normal egg, and then three weeks later, presto, chickies! I hatched with a broody, and she was a great first-time mom. You'll love hatching, and it's addictive.

It truly is! My chicks that hatched started laying a couple weeks ago! one lays a jumbo green egg!
