Hmmm...experiences are different for everyone but from what I've heard, Sebright males can be aggressive and flighty, and females just flighty. The bird as an individual can always be different, but just bare this is mind. I'd hate for you to get stuck with some bad birds in your first experience raising poultry. It can be enjoyable. But sometimes, we just get stuck with loser birds (always prepare yourself for terrible roosters, because they're out there. My first few boys put me off for a while, but when I saw that there are pleasant males just waiting out there, I felt better.)
Assuming you're getting chickies, bantams come straight run most of the time. So those would be unsexed. You can end up with both males and females. Where are you ordering from?
