Silkie bath day hilarity- Now with pink and blue Silkies

A flock of wet Silkies is a sad sight to behold... I've been feeding them a lot of veggies from the garden and everyone was getting kind of grimy, so I waited for the next 100 degree day (didn't take long) and bathed and treated everyone for mites. Needless to say, everyone was very sad, sodden, and not at all happy with me.

And rooster, Thor, halfway dry. He is less than his usual magnificent self.

hehehehe I have several silkies and a herd of d'uccle youngsters than need baths too.

My one D'uccle hen got her bath too. She was considerably less offended than the Silkies.

He really isn't, he's not oversize for a Silkie- but he has a TON of fluff. My daughter is also teeny tiny! It's funny, get Thor wet and he is half the size he is dry. Love wet Silkies.
