I'm having a heck of a time with my white and black lil silkies, they started to fight yesterday and won't let go of each other, i had to take out the white one, he started it. and the white one was going after another silkie, so all of this going after stuff, is it a roo trait? will i have to keep them seperating all of the time?

also, i have a really dumb question about birds in general....do they pee?

I know that rabbit's poo doesn't smell, but their urine stinks, so i was wondering about chickens...or is it a mixture?

The poop and pee are mixed together, and it does smell bad if you let it build up. If you keep things cleaned out though, you shouldn't have much of an odor.

thanks for that info. I guess i kinda knew that, but thought i better ask first.
so my first question about them fighting all of the time, is it a roo thing? or are they just kids... and i can put them back together again?
thanks
melinda
