silkie beak is crooked

I did not notice it before but i noticed tonight that one of my silkies beak is overlapping to one side. what caused this?

you may have a cross beak, it is a birth defect and will get worse with age,,,, most people cull but I have on that is 3yrs old and lays nice blue eggs.(EE) she will need a deep dish to eat from as they get food more with their tongue if you want you can keep the beak filed down a little, looks a little better
