silkie breeder sacramento/pleasanton/chico area

Well we tried to raise silkie chicks for our backyard condo coop; but as fate would have it they were boys. If it crows, it goes. I am looking to replace my daughters roosters with laying silkies (a layer cant lie. I Live in Chico Ca and I am having one heck of a time finding anyone who sells adult silkie hens (i would rather not have a brooder in my garage again). I travel down to the bay area and sacramnto 2x a month so if anyone knows of a breeder could you please help me out. I just want an awesome pretty hen for my daughter

Last year I got 3 silkies from Northern Star Mills and they were all boys as well. Maybe there is some unwritten law that says you can't have silkie hens in Chico
