Silkie breeders in eastern NC

Looking silkie breeders and fanciers in eastern NC. Looking to buy hatching eggs, chicks, or breeding stock. I currently have a buff pair laying, buff eggs in incubator from same breeder I got the pair from. A half grown trio of partridge, and a 5 week old chick. And three 7 week old white chicks. Would also like to add some blue and black birds.

I dont know how far you are willing to go but check Craigslist under the Wilmington area. The guy lives in leland only person I was able to find. I can't find his number but he just puts a plain ad out on cl no pics and chicks $2 each. It was a 910 # he has almost any age you could want. He seemed to have every color but buffs but I only saw a few of his almost 100 pens. I ended up with 2 whites (thought one was a splash but turned white) 1 partridge and 1 blue/black splash. His prices are VERY reasonable even if you get started pullets.

Thanks for the reply. I look on CL almost every day, but use the eastern NC listing. Missed out on a partrage hen this weekend. Friend saw posting, told me monday, but it had been pulled down already. Hope some other breeders reply to this .
