I have a couple questions.

Which rooster would you rather breed?

Rooster 1: He has a nice small dark colored comb. It is smooth. Non-vaulted. His foot feathering is okay, but a little bit hard, and he is lanky.

Rooster 2: Large crest, perfect type and shape, amazing foot feathering, comb is a little light, and has bumps on it.

I suppose the best thing to do would be to try them both, and see who produces the best chicks. right? I will probably do that.

The hens that they will be paired with are great. Tiny dark smooth combs, correct shape. Great type. Great foot feathering.

The hens compliment both of the roosters perfectly.

Are you kind of just talking to yourself or do you want opinions?

If you want opinions then Pics really help.

I thinkl you answered your own question

Yes, try both and see which pairing give the better offspring. Since you have multiple hens, try switching those around, too.

It depends. I prefer darker combs, so knowing that I would choose Roo 1, but I think all the other features are described better on Roo 2 so a comb color can be rectified easier than the other stuff.
