So this:
That would be my guess on these two. Yes, the slope drops more suddenly but has nothing to do with those beaks that over grow and drop down past the lower beak so want to trim them.So this:

Girl beak?

I think I have it.. But let me know if I'm right.
Harsher slope you mean? Like it's not all rounded down?
Check out your adult birds and see if you see the pattern there. That would be my guess on these two. Yes, the slope drops more suddenly but has nothing to do with those beaks that over grow and drop down past the lower beak so want to trim them.

Oh well, way to go Steve! I hope he doesn't pass it on to his sons and mess up my new techniqueThat roo looks like a girl beak to me!![]()
The top two look like girl beaks and the bottom two looks like boy beaks to me. Obviously not an accurate test.Okay, just bathed 4 whites. Cockerel has a short stubby beak with an even curve over its whole length. The other three all have longer, less curved beaks that have a sudden drop curve near the end. Pretty sure at least one of these is a cockerel and one is a pullet. Not sure on the third, although leaning towards (hoping for) pullet.
