Silkie breeding questions

I have a pair of silkies that I collect there eggs and hatched them . One is all white and one is paint . When the eggs hatch I have all sort of color and also some have 4 toes and white skin . Why is that ?

How long did you separate them from the others? hens can be fertile from one mating for several weeks, sometimes more than a month, was she covered by another rooster before separated them and how long were they separated.

Yes, I think she must have still been fertile by other roosters.

You can already tell by the color of the chicks.
