My little buff silkie Tina, was broody for most of March. She broke on her own, and life went on, but she was back in the lay box all day today. I thought maybe she was egg bound so we went and got her out and she growled and stayed in the lay position. Once we got her in the run she stood up and was walking around. There was an egg in the box and no signs she was egg bound so I think she is going broody again?! Is that possible?

Hi, we've got Silkies here and they often go broody, I think it's just part of their nature. I just put food and water near them so they don't have to venture too far from the nest until they're out and about again. They seem to wait until no-one's looking and the coast is clear before they get up and have a walk around.
