Silkie chick : Am I seeing wattles at 7 weeks old?

This chick is 7 weeks old, its a Silkie, and still very young, but it's comb/wattles is screaming rooster at me.
I'm keeping an eye on this chick as I cannot keep roosters.
My other 3 chicks, still have very small combs and are not turning red-ish.

I know it's way to early to know for sure but I just want to make sure my guess of it being a boy will be right.

I sort of started to guess that it was going to be a cockerel at 4 weeks old.
But now I'm sure it is.
Outta the 4 one is only looking like a boy I guess that's a good thing.

they can be very hard to sex but with that comb yea i would definitely say cockerel

Yes I know they are very hard to sex this is my second year raising silkie chicks, this lot has been the hardest so far.

Wow mine is seven weeks and has a huge comb also! I think he's a roo as well.

Our 7 week old silkie went from Maxime to Hagrid today! He is 1 of five and stands alone....tallest, LOUDEST, and flutters around his little chick box. I greet them with soft hellos and I get in return a raspy squawk.
