Silkie chick colors!!

Aww What a cute lil vault! I think I saw him on the silkie thread I wouldnt be surprised if he turns all blue just because he's getting the darker feathers even around the shoulders and has so much already. This is how my lighter blue turned out, and it wound up really dark blue, very much like this. Its so funny the different colors they turn out being, even when you dont expect them that way as chicks. I really wouldnt be surprised if my darker splash hopefuls just wind up being blues lol. But at least I know I have at least two true splash Then I have 2 buffs, 2 whites, 2 blacks, 1 actual blue, 2 partridge, and then the 2 actual splash and 2 "hopefully darker splash" haha. I got those extra just incase I dont get a girl with my other lighter ones, and since its my fav color I wanna make sure I get a girl lol. I will probably sell a few if I end up with too many blues haha.

Yep he was on there lol I'll be posting him again because i didn't get any responses as to what others think his color may be, I think you're right tho maybe or most likely he'll be a shade of blue lol I love splash! One day I'll have a splash pen thank you for your responses

Ya, notice I don't really get very many responses on there to lol. I am betting he'll be a nice darker shade of blue. I have a beautiful vaulted baby turning about the same color. Ill probably post a few more pics of everyone else pretty soon.

I'm here! LOL New to the site and new to silkies. Just got my first 2 silkie chicks and love love love them. I saw a comment above that detailed out the colors and I agree with those, but I'm a newbie so...

Hopefully they all were hens???

Ok no body would help me on the silkie thread so I found this one, I hope to have better luck here. Any way I got 2 silkies yesterday, 1 is a blue, the other is my little mystery chick. Please help me figure out the color if you can?

the dad/rooster was a buff/lavender splash

The hens were all blue, splash or lavender splash

This is my little chick

I was thinking buff but the little research I can find on buff color tells me that buff and buff make buff, and my chick only has 1/4 buff in it... If I'm wrong please enlighten me...

The picture doesn't really show the color all that great so I'll explain the color as well
Color description: palomino color the wing feathers are coming in cream, the chick has lavender under the neck and a lavender sheen on it back and tail end.

Any thoughts???

black skin, beak, eyes. Feathered legs. Five toes
White with tan stripe. some more than others

usually when you get silkies from somewhere like tractor supply you get only the standard colors, like white, blue,black and buff. Some white chicks have a tan tent to them so you probably have whites or possible buffs. You will know when there wing feathers come in. Silkies ate just the sweetest best pet chickens in my opinion so just be slow and calm when picking them up, handle them a lot!!# talk to them so they learn your voice. Give the small amounts of treats like oatmeal and meal worms when they get a little older. They best way to a chickens heart is threw the stomach!
I sit and watch tv and just hold them and let them snuggle. Gets them used to being held. But yes it looks like you have silkies. One looked like it didn't have any or not many leg feathers but other wise looked like silkie.
Congrats on your New litle babies. Enjoy them!

I was told they were charcoal n partridge...lady seemd real sure of it but thought I would see what people think...she had all silkies at her farm and had show winners....I never asked what one was mom n dad but.....
