Hi, I recently bought a couple chicks, they’re about 4 weeks old, one of which is a Silkie. The Silkie I noticed today having one eye shut and the other was bubbly and swollen. After a quick warm water q-tip massage the she reopened her eye and it too is bubbly. She seems to be a little lethargic but eating and drinking normally and her poops are normal looking as well. I’ve read its most likely a respiratory infection, so I’ve treated their water with a probiotic, electrolyte, and ACV. Along with putting a few drops of Vetrycin in their brooder. Is there anything else I can do? I’m not sure they’re old enough for antibiotics yet, but any suggestions are welcome!
