Silkie chicken eye infection?

Does anyone know what could be wrong with my chickens eye? Its half open and looks infected. The other one is fine. She doesn't come out of coop much lately and i think its cause of her eye. Anyone have recommendations? Worried shes sick.....

It could be due to a pecked or injured eye, having a foreign body or feather causing irritation to the eye, but many times, a swollen and draining eye can be a sign of a respiratory disease. Does she sneeze, have drainage from her nostrils, or have noisy breathing? I would clean her eye with saline and apply a dot of either Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin ointment twice a day in her eye.
