Silkie chickens - coop/run advice

They are the climbing type. They would only be a threat if your birds are free ranging and you are not watching them.

I disagree. I have had a feral cat climb up and over into my run and attack my chickens while I was watching them.

Does anyone have advice about what bedding to get?

Pine shavings are always good. So is straw.
