Silkie Chicks?

Are silkie chicks easy to raise as chicks, and any pics of silkies and chicks!

I have had silkie chicks, and yes, they are just as easy to raise as other breeds of chicks. Sorry I don't have any pics, but others will come around shortly.

This is my daughter's new silkie chick, named mellow. She is 4 days old. (I have no idea if she is a she, we just say it is) She is not a show quality chick, but to us...she is a heart melter. Very funny, soft and fluffy.

Yep, easy to raise like any other chick.
I have several silkie mix chicks inside and one older black silkie outside.

(S)he's adorable!
You might be able to tell her gender as of today --don't wait!--
by holding one of her wings out. If you see her wing feather tips are all in a line, she's a boy,
if they're clearly uneven lengths, she's a girl. It might be a day too late for this to work,
don't know, but if you don't find out now, it could be several months

They don't seem any easier or more difficult to raise than any other chick...about the same

They love watermelon!
