Silkie Cold Tolerance

I have a question about a Silkie rooster. Are they quieter than other roosters? Also we learned about cold tolerance, how about the heat?

they are usually quieter then other roosters and they can do good in heat because people say they can't be in the cold so i guess it means they are supposed to just be good in the heat but there good in both .. i hope i helped you guys all

My silkies do well in Ohio weather which ranges from lows of 10-25 degrees in winter to highs in summer of 90-100. They get no heat, but a draft-free barn in winter and lots of ventilation in summer. They stay around the coop on very cold days and free range less.
