silkie color question

Hey All!
I have several silkie chicks from my black silkie hen , father is either white or red. I was wondering if these guys are black? or blue? I cant tell how much lighter they would need to be to be considered blue...

I would say black. I have 2 blues at home and 2 black... I dont have pictures until I get home though...
