Silkie color?

It looks like they all have the blue gene but some came out black. Congrats!

One hatched today with curved toes. Made a splint with pipe cleaners hopefully it will straighten them

Took the splints off because it couldnt move easily. Got home from work and found it had passed away. Glad it didnt suffer

Partridge silkie?

I thought that at first but s(he) doesn't have the typical partride patterning

Well i know that to get partridge you have to have blue genes right. I also have a black hen

The genotype for partridge does not include blue

Blackish grey sounds like blue...but would need a photo to tell for sure
