Hi everyone, my old girl just hatched a few babies and to my surprise I found this little one. father is grey, mother is either white, black or grey. I'm assuming partridge but how can that be?

Yes it's partridge. Both parents are carrying partridge but they have other genes that are dominate and hiding it. This chick just happened to get a copy from both so its showing.
Not sure exactly what you're calling grey but its not uncommon for silkies to carry partridge sight unseen. Both black and white birds can and do as can blue or splash. There's also a silver version of partridge in silkies.

Maybe a mutashion happened.

A mutation. Either a typo, or an example of spelling the word according to how it sounds.

In this case, I think the explanation given by The Moonshiner is probably correct, rather than the chick having a new mutation, but new mutations certainly do happen on some rare occasions.

Thank you all for your replies, by grey I mean this colour.
