Silkie Contest! *CLOSED!*

This is Dolce. One of her siblings is Gabana. This is a chick from my first attempt at hatching. I came home from visiting the inlaws to find an adorable chick in the incubator on MOTHER'S DAY! I sat by the incubator all night watching the hatch which some of you might have read about. I slept for three hours during which 5 more babies were born. I was able to witness 8 of the births and had 100% hatch for my first try.

This is Sierra. She was the eager hatcher. She was the first chick who supprised me on Mother's day. It was only day 19. She is half silkie and half old English. She has silkie toes and feet and OE feathers.

OK! I'm in!!

Here are some of my white silkies all bunched together, but the main one is the cockerel in the middle. He's obviously white (wink), 8 months old and he's my favorite cockerel :)

I absolutely LOVE this picture! They are all 3 lined up.. heh!
The one in the back is a white hen, then it's a white cockerel, then it's another white hen and you can't really see her to well.
