Silkie crest feathers coming out

I have a couple of silkies losing their crest feathers. Not sure if it's a sickness causing it or if other chickens might be plucking them out. Any help appreciated.

It could be from others plucking them out - do you see any new growth coming in?

Watch the interactions within the flock, especially at night when they are roosting. Check them over for lice/mites and apply some vaseline or a+d ointment to the exposed areas.
