I have 2 silkie/ee hens and they are wonderful. They are sweet babies, and great layers. They lay everyday. I have a bunch of their eggs in the incubator right now. I am excited to see what turns out.

So, after seeing this thread I felt the urge to have some silkie x myself...so over the weekend I bought 2 white silkies (unsexed) which are now in a cage with my 2 phoenix x polish bantams (girls), a pair of silver sebrights and one poland pullet (it's a cross but you can't tell). Can't wait to mix them all up, though I'll probably have to wait til spring before any babies. Can't wait!
