Actually, now that you say that, I know they are not an accepted breed in the standard of perfection, but I don't know about the APA. We are new to showing (this did our 2nd year). Is the APA and the Standard of Perfection the same??? We show are our Ancona's and our Australian Spotted ducks and they are not an accepted breed yet either. They can get best of breed when we show them, but not champion in their catagory. I think thats how that works.......???

edited to say: just looked at the excepted breeds and silkies weren't on there.
