Silkie dying but what is it?

She is 2 weeks old, walking backwards and cannot hold her head up - goes down in between her legs and she appears to be having seizures. She cannot eat or drink or open her eyes. What is this?

Try and do a search on wry or crooked neck. If it is give her some infint polyvistol (WITHOUT IRON) drops to the beak. Silkies get this often.I hope she gets better

Oh no, Debi! Did she eat anything she shouldn't? Plants?

I read a thread recently about birds with vaulted skulls having this problem. I think the poster and the members who gave advice all used the polyvisol and the birds recovered!

Try the Poly w/out Iron- I too have read that it does wonders. I'm so sorry.

I got the polyvisol, but it is too late for her. At least we know next time, if it happens again. Does that stuff expire?
