Silkie ears infected

Hi,
An update on my poor silkies, I had to bite the bullet and take my worst one which is my kids favorite one to the vet. They have respitory illness so they prescribed metacam (anti imflamatory ) and clavamox ( anti biotic ). Some are looking better but a couple esp the favorite is looking worse. She walks around fine even though both eyes are closed, I feed her grapes, water, and baby food by hand because she can't see. It's a pretty sad thing. Don't know what else to do. Here's a tip if you ever need medicine get the human equivalent because clavamox is $96 but Augmention is $10 at SamsClub which is the same thing because their is a generic.

Sounds like you made the right choice.
Respiratory problems do cause ear infections.
Hopefully them meds kick in quick.

Were you able to get the generic brand of meds for her?

Try wetting her regular feed to make a mash...it might be easier for her to eat.
It's a complete feed and it will be better for her than just treats right now.
